Apple says “It’s show time”, confirms next event on March 25

Despite the reports of least expectations from Apple‘s upcoming iPhone line-up, the Cupertino tech giant’s ambitions are on a ‘high’, as the company has confirmed a March 25th event that will be held at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California – the US.

Apple has also posted an animated countdown GIF and “It’s show time” tag gives a clue that Apple’s new TV streaming service is likely to become a reality. Understanding the fragments from the recent course of events, one can assume that Apple will hold an event on March 25 where the company is expected to announce its long-rumored TV streaming and Apple News subscription services, as reported by Cnet.

It must not be surprising for you if Apple completely skips new hardware announcements at the event. Meanwhile, referring to the video service, Apple recently made partnerships with TV makers to add iTunes video support to popular 2018 and 2019 television sets, and it will probably use the March 25th event to unveil the third-party iTunes app on stage, perhaps promising wider (Android device) support for its videos. Unverified rumors have suggested the company was working on an inexpensive Apple TV dongle as a replacement.

Moreover, rumors also suggest that we might see the tech giant announcing the most anticipated revamped AirPods, a new entry-level iPad, and the long-delayed AirPower wireless charging pad. However, imagining such accomplishments would be very early at this stage.

Various new media outlets have also suggested that the Apple News service will probably focus to offer a Netflix-style bundle for subscription newspapers and magazines all in one convenient place.

Last but not least, Apple is planning to provide a live video stream of the event at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time on March 25, so make sure to be available if you are truly an Apple fanboy. Meanwhile, we will also keep you posted with the announcements of the event.
