Although this year Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference did not introduce a new MacBook Pro, the phrases ‘M1X MacBook Pro’ and tags ‘M1X’ were mentioned on YouTube of the live WWDC keynote which was later on spotted by a Twitter user named Max Blazer.

This is most likely that Apple is releasing a new M1 chip which would be more enhanced in terms of performance given the term ‘X’ added along with the original chip. This makes it clear that Apple is not directly jumping straight into the term ‘M2’.
