The Cupertino giant may be planning to bring the all-time Android favorite, the swipe-to-type keyboard on its platform. The addition of this keyboard is expected to be announced at the company’s software developers conference next month.
The news about the addition of the keyboard is reported by Bloomberg, along with other various exciting features and tweaks that Apple might be planning to release for its software at the developers conference.
The swipe-to-type keyboard has been a favorite feature on the Android platform, which allows users to drag their fingers between letters to form words and complete sentences. With this feature on iOS 13, the Apple users would no longer have to tap away on their keyboard to form words for texting and they will be able to use the first-party keyboard to type words by dragging around the keyboard.
Right now the iOS users have to use a third-party keyboard available on the App store to use the swipe-to-type function on their devices. By adding this feature as a part of the existing keyboard in iOS, Apple will make it easy for users to enjoy this feature.
Apple is also improving its platform by removing apps and features that are harmful to its users. Apple recently pulled out three dating apps from its App Store, which didn’t block kids under 13 from signing up on their platform and could potentially be used by sexual predators to find children.
Moreover, it is also said that Apple planning to add reverse wireless charging feature and Qualcomm’s 5G modems in its upcoming 2019 and 2020 iPhone models.
