Apple is planning to expand its brand offerings by introducing premium, water resistant AirPods with enhanced Siri integration.
We have been reporting you time after time about lots of interesting features the Cupertino giant – Apple is introducing in its products and rumours floating about upcoming phones. The latest rumour reported by Bloomberg that caught our attention is that Apple is working on the next- generation of water-resistant AirPods. According to latest reports, the new AirPods will have noise cancellation feature and will be equipped with an updated Bluetooth chip that will offer improved stability and greater connectivity with Apple’s devices.
The second generation AirPods are anticipated to feature a more powerful chip that’s currently being used in the Apple Watch. Bloomberg added some sources suggested adding biometric sensors, strengthening the Apple’s health tracking efforts. As far as Apple’s health initiatives are concerned, I have previously reported about Apple’s Blood pressure monitor that is going to be launched soon and the company introduced a new Watch OS5 software in its Watch to get new health and fitness tracking features.
Coming back to AirPods that are likely to cost more around $159 in the U.S and are expected to hit the market in 2019. The high cost of AirPods is inclined to the same way it prices iPhones, offering a more expensive high-end model and a low-end model like the iPhone SE.
Hopefully, Apple fans are impatiently waiting for the company to release a new version of its AirPods. Additionally, Apple also decided to change the design of the AirPods a little bit to make them supportable for all people and not fall from the ear so often.
