Mercantile Pacific, Singapore has been appointed as the official regional distributor for Afghanistan and Pakistan. The news was first heard four months ago but it is being implemented now. This is in line with PTA’s efforts to regularize Pakistan’s smartphone market especially iPhone imports.
Mercantile Pacific is one of the leading global mobile phone distribution companies with a large network of partners, suppliers, and customers worldwide. Its ever-growing portfolio includes popular models of all premium brands.
Mercantile Pacific has decided to join hands with Airlink Communication as its distribution partner in the country. Mercantile Pacific’s Head of Global and Business Development, Simon Mallitte, delightfully said:
“We are thrilled to partner with Airlink Communication, one of the leading Mobile Phone Distributors, in the country.”
Speaking at the occasion, Muzzaffar Hayat Piracha, CEO Airlink Communication Ltd, remarked:
“Airlink Communication is committed to offering the best products to the consumers through this alliance. The market for premium products in Pakistan is growing and we should expect the best from the future.”
Although this partnership is expected to increase Apple products’ prices due to the strict tax policies in Pakistan, citizens will be able to get a fully immersive experience of the products previously unavailable.
