Is your mobile getting Android Oreo?

The storm of speculations regarding features of Android Oreo has ended after Google released it. However, on the other hand, rumors have begun to spread out regarding the flagships which will receive this new Android OS. Putting aside these speculations different companies have confirmed that Android O will be available to their flagship.

BlackBerry and HTC

We previously reported at Techjuice that BlackBerry KeyOne might get an update to Android Oreo. Now the news has been confirmed by a spokesperson for BlackBerry, that KeyOne flagship will get Android O update. Similarly, a spokesperson for HTC mobile company has also confirmed that U11 will get Android O update.

OnePlus

Moving onward, we also reported that flagships of OnePlus will also get Android O update and now according to TechCrunch, OnePlus has semi-officially announced that its 3 and 3T flagships will be upgraded to Android O and it is most likely that the company will ship Android Oreo to its OnePlus 5 flagship as well.

Motorola

Motorola has also confirmed that Android Oreo will make its way to its flagships. However, the company asserted that it will only possible after “Android O is fully released”. Moreover, mobile manufacturing companies such as Samsung has not spoken a word regarding Android Oreo making its way to its flagships.

Here are some devices which might eventually get Android Oreo update.

It would be worth mentioning here that Google in the first phase will roll out Android Oreo on its flagships which include, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C tablet, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nexus Player.

The new OS has been released with different features such as picture-in-picture or PiP mode, fewer notification bombardments, limit background apps, support for autofill APIs, and an upgraded keyboard navigation etc.
