Android Digital Wellbeing features coming to more smartphones later this year

Android’s Digital Wellbeing features are coming to non-stock Android smartphones later this year, Google announced earlier today. The first lineup outside the vanilla Android experience will be the Motorola G7 lineup. These added features allow you to analyze how you spend your time on your phone and even set the maximum time that you can use an app during the day.

Given below are a set of screenshots from the Digital Wellbeing feature in my Nokia 6.1. As you can see, majorly my time on my phone is utilized on social media applications like WhatsApp:

And here is a view of the notifications disabling feature which I can use on individual apps:

There is also an option Wind Down which allows me to set my sleeping schedule during which Night Light automatically turned on and the screen color changes to Grayscale if I enable it, basically to help me ditch my phone and go to sleep easily.

Needless to say the features are neat and handy especially if you want to ditch your phone. Google hasn’t specified which phones in specific will be getting this feature but we will keep an eye out and let you know when we get an update.
