According to two Redditors, their Pixel 6 phones stopped working after turning on this feature. The problem may be more complicated, though, since another person says that their device bricked while it was being used normally.

According to all accounts of the Pixel 6 bricking problem, the devices are totally unusable, and standard troubleshooting methods have not worked. Although these are just a few cases right now, the problem is very severe. If you have a Pixel 6 and haven’t updated to Android 15, you should wait until Google comes up with a fix.
