Alibaba Mobile Business Group shows keen interest in Pakistan with the official campaign launch of UC Browser

UCWeb is a business within the Alibaba Mobile Business Group and a leading provider of mobile internet software and services. Their product, UC Browser provides the solution to the internet problems faced by Pakistani users such as slow video buffering and downloading.

UCWeb is now officially kick-starting their marketing campaigns in Pakistan with the launch of a TV Commercial which depicts the fast internet speed of the browser. It highlights two important features of the browser tailored to the local needs; fast video buffering and downloading. Kenny Ye, GM of Alibaba Group said,

“In Pakistan, online video watching and downloading are two of the main activities of our user. However, with the relatively slow internet speed, the video experience is always interrupted. We want to change this situation with technology and localization strategy, offering seamless browsing, swift downloading, quick and easy navigation to the most popular local news, videos, music, etc.”

With over 420 million people actively using the product every month, UC Browser is equipped with cloud computing technology and U3 Kernal. It provides faster and stable downloads, online browsing, data saving and ad blocks.
