Ali J. Siddiqui joins board of Afiniti — one of the largest AI startup with over a billion dollar valuation

Afiniti, the world’s biggest Artificial Intelligence startup valued at over a $1 billion, has recently added Pakistan’s former Ambassador to the US, Ali J. Siddiqui to its advisory board. Afiniti announced the inclusion of Ali J. Siddiqui to its advisory along with the former British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Afiniti is an AI company which belongs to the ‘Global Unicorn’ club for its over billion dollar valuation. The startup uses Artificial Intelligence to help businesses communicate with their customers more efficiently. With its worldwide operations, Afiniti has helped its clients earn billions of dollars in healthcare, telecommunications, travel, hospitality, and various other sectors.

The recent announcement by the company was the part of Advisory Board shuffle which saw former British Prime Minister David Cameron joining as Chairman as well as the addition of other former government influencers such as the ex-US Vice Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral William Owens.

Meanwhile, Ali J. Siddiqui, the former ambassador of Pakistan to the US has been a true inspiration for Pakistanis as he will be working along some of the world’s leading politicians and businessmen. Sidiqqui himself is a diplomat and entrepreneur, at the same time, as he is one of those handful of people who can handle just about anything that comes their way.

From starting his first business ‘Advance Micro Research’ to founding the ‘JS Bank’ which has over $4 billions in assets, Mr. Siddiqui has been continuously sharpening his entrepreneurial skills to fulfill his ambitions. As for diplomatic skills, he had served his country by remaining the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan with the status of Minister of State. He had also worked in various business and government advisory councils, policy institutions and commercial entities.

As of now, Ali Siddiqui will be working alongside Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron and an array of senior business and political leaders on the advisory board of Afiniti.

As the opportunities and challenges linked to the artificial intelligence have become crystal clear, Siddiqui’s role in Afiniti’s Advisory Board will be to provide strategic guidance to Afiniti’s management team and Board of Directors.

Zia Chisti, CEO Afiniti welcomed the new council members, as he stated;

We are delighted to welcome David, Bill, and Ali to Afiniti. Our Advisory Board has a diverse array of senior business and political leaders who provide invaluable guidance to the company as we expand around the world. At Afiniti, we’re proud to be delivering real benefits through our AI technology today, helping to drive significant value to clients across industries. Afiniti is about raising the productivity of companies. David’s deep personal commitment to this issue makes him perfectly-placed to lead our Advisory Board, and all three new Board members will support Afiniti in our next stage of growth.”

The advisory board is full of high-profile names, including Andrew Knight, the chairman of The Times and The Sunday Times, Francois Fillon, the former prime minister of France, Simon Murray, the former Glencore chairman and Andrea Wong, Director Liberty Media International among others business professionals.

Entrepreneurs like Ali J. Siddiqui are a role model for Pakistan as because of these talented people Pakistan is gaining recognition on the global stage of the technology ecosystem.
