Xiaomi Pakistan has officially announced that the online Platform PriceOye.pk is not an authorized partner of the company. The platform has been accused of manipulating prices and selling cross-region Xiaomi stock, which has a market impact.
In a statement, Xiaomi emphasized the importance of protecting the profitability of its channel partners. The company strongly advises Xiaomi-related wholesalers and retailers to stop selling or buying Xiaomi stock via PriceOye.pk.
To enforce compliance, Xiaomi will perform mystery shopping and trace IMEI numbers, and anyone who is directly or indirectly engaged with PriceOye.pk will face serious consequences, the statement added.
Xiaomi Pakistan also urged all parties involved to rigorously adhere to this guideline to maintain the brand’s success and trust in the nation. The company continues to strive for positive relationships with its approved partners while also ensuring that consumers receive legitimate products at reasonable costs.
Whereas, in response to the Xiaomi’s and Tecno’s warning against the marketplace, Priceoye took a jibe at both and issued a statement which asserted the fact that their prices are provenly less than the market and quality is as per the mark.
