AbacusConsulting partners with Amazon Web Services to train IT professionals in Pakistan

AbacusConsulting, a global provider of technology and consulting services, today announced they have joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) Training Partner program to deliver AWS Classroom Training to Pakistani learners. APN is a global partner program, and the APN Training Partner Program enables AWS Authorized Instructors to deliver training developed by AWS, around the world. AbacusConsulting currently has three AWS Authorized Instructors who deliver training in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad in English and Urdu.

With the accelerating adoption of cloud computing and AWS Cloud solutions worldwide, businesses are seeking employees and consultants with in-demand AWS Cloud skills. As an APN Training Partner, AbacusConsulting will be able to help address the cloud skills gap in Pakistan, and enable local Pakistani businesses to make better use of the AWS Cloud.

AbacusConsulting offers three training courses, including Architecting on AWS, Systems Operations on AWS, and Developing on AWS. These courses each comprise 3 days of classroom training, and give learners the opportunity to learn best practices, and get feedback and answers from an instructor. The courses also include hands-on labs, which allow learners to practice skills in a sandbox environment to solidify their knowledge. Training also helps prepare learners to take AWS Certification exams, which validate technical skills and expertise with a globally industry-recognized credential.

Mr. Abbas Khan, Managing Director at AbacusConsulting commented, “Cloud has become the new normal worldwide. More and more businesses are shifting towards the cloud as a result of which they require well-trained and certified resources to help them unlock the true potential of cloud computing to drive innovation and digital transformation. We’re honored to join the AWS APN Training Partner program and educate IT professionals in Pakistan. As a member of AWS APN since 2016, we have been helping organizations to deploy robust cloud solutions, and becoming an AWS APN Training Partner will enable us to help our customers drive better business value”, said Mr. Khan.
