Reddit has finally announced the native night mode feature for the desktop.
On May 24th, Reddit published an official blog post to announce that the company has officially launched the much awaited night mode feature. The feature was being tested with employees before it was made public. The night mode offers a black interface instead of classic white similar to Twitter. The update is ideal for those who are addicted to browsing Reddit before bedtime

The feature is already present on Reddit mobile app and old desktop version but it was not available for the new design version of Reddit that began rolling out last month. If you are using Reddit redesign just go to the top right of your desktop web browser screen then click on the username and select the Night Mode. The feature doesn’t turn on and off automaticaly— meaning you have to turn it on/off yourself. In another case, if you are still on an older design of Reddit, then you can switch to the Night Mode by changing the layout first.
