Galaxy S9 and S9+ cases and colors revealed in new leaks

The famed South Korean behemoth, Samsung is unveiling its most anticipated beasts, Galaxy S9 variants on 25th of February in Barcelona right before MWC. The leak and rumors about the most awaited flagships which were on high tides as we entered 2018 have fainted at the moment. That’s because nothing much is left for the leaks as we are quite close to witnessing the launch of smartphones. However, two new leaks of different nature have surfaced last week, allegedly revealing the phones’ casing and colors.

First things first, a video has surfaced online which has revealed the official cases which show the location of fingerprint scanner has been changed and now it is placed below their lenses. The model numbers stamped inside the phone’s casing affirms the inclusion of these casings in the accessories of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. The EF-ZG960C number hints a Clear View Cover case for the S9, and a similar number for Samsung Galaxy S9+. The video reveals everything we expected from Samsung’s upcoming flagships. There is indeed a shorter camera cutout on the case meant for the S9 which will have a single rear camera, and a longer one for the S9+, indicating we may have the first S-line phone from Samsung with a dual camera setup this year.

The Clear View Cover will be available in blue, black, rose gold, and in a new purple option. Other than that at least 5 more casings are expected to arrive along with the handsets, including LED Flip Wallet, Hyperknit Cover, Protective Standing Cover, and Silicon Cover.

Now for the second most intriguing leak, who else but your favorite phone leaker, Evan Blass has revealed all color options for the Galaxy S9/S9+. According to him, “the full-color pallette, FYI, is: Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray and Coral Blue”.

We are already familiar with most of the colors as they were featured in Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and the Note 8, but Lilac Purple is a new one. As the phones will not get a bigger design change from last year’s flagships, except for that, which is already mentioned above, PhoneArena has created the possible Galaxy S9 variants.
