WhatsApp is down at the moment. We’ve tested the WhatsApp on internet connections from different ISPs and we are unable to send and receive messages on either one of them.
A lot of users are also reporting from different parts of the world including India that WhatsApp is not working from them as well. Here are some the tweets.
Whatsapp service in Mumbai has been disrupted it seems. Was also wondering why did market volumes dry up? ????????????

The major problem as reported by many users to TechJuice is in sending and receiving messages, while few users were still able to download already received content i.e images, videos from their devices. The reason behind disruption in services is still unknown.
Recently Whatsapp has also introduced a feature by which users can delete their sent messages even from the receiver side.
Update: WhatsApp is up and running for everyone again.
