As Google is planning to launch its next-generation OS Android O on 21st August, speculations have begun regarding the smartphones which will receive Android O update. So, we have prepared a list of smartphones which might get Android O update. Android O is Google’s eighth generation Android operating system.
Google announced the coming of its new OS Android O at I/O conference and since then it has become the talk of the town, Android users across the world are eagerly waiting for it to be released. The new upcoming OS of Google is not fully redesigned or revamped Android operating system. However, it will ship with some major changes.
The new OS will be released with different features such as picture-in-picture or PiP mode, fewer notification bombardments, limit background apps, support for autofill APIs, fonts combined with XML, wide-gamut color displays for applications requiring it, customizable icons, support for latest Java 8 APIs, connect with WiFi without an internet access point, lock screen shortcuts, and an upgraded keyboard navigation etc.
As this is Google owned OS system it is safe to assume that at first, it will be released in Google’s pixel smartphones. Similarly, different companies, such as Samsung, Huawei, Motorola, and HTC, which are using Android-based OS system will also get this update.
