HTC is working on bringing their new smartphones to the market as early as this September. The new pair of mid-range, Desire-class smartphones being referred to as Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle will be branded in line with their 2016 flagship HTC 10.
According to details obtained by VentureBeat on the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, the smartphone is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, skinned with HTC Sense and running on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor whose speed is unknown. The phone will have an HD resolution of 720p or 720 x 1280 and the memory configuration is expected to be either 3GB RAM / 32GB storage or 2GB / 16GB.
The rear camera will be 13 MP with a backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor and single LED flash. The front camera will reportedly be 5 MP with a BSI sensor. Both cameras will offer full HD 1080p video recording.
The smartphone is expected to come out in several different colors with a matte finish as opposed to earlier Desire models. The model will also have signature gold trimming on the borders and along the back camera.
The phone is also expected to offer ‘Boomsound Hi-Fi Edition’ stereo speakers with a 24-bit system audio. Furthermore, the phone will come with higher quality earbuds to take advantage of the better audio in this model.
No pricing details have been revealed but both the HTC Desire 10 Pro and the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle are expected to come out at the end of September.
