MeshPros in collaboration of TechHub Connect, is arranging a WordPress meetup on “Speed optimization and WrodPress for startups” supported by WordPress official, on 14 November at Arfa Software Technology Park,Lahore. Ayesha Zaman, CEO of topwriters is the official content partner of WordPress Meetups Pakistan.
The meetup is part of a series of meetups to be arranged on a monthly basis with the first one already conducted in Lahore last month receiving a really positive response. The main motivation behind arranging these meetups is to bring WordCamp, the biggest gathering of WordPress users in the world, to Pakistan. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events put together by WordPress users where everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. In order to achieve this feat, a number of meetups are first being organized to connect the Pakistani WordPress community for raising awareness and increase collaboration before showing its presence worldwide via WordCamp.
Muhammad Kashif, founder of MeshPros and chief organizer of WordPress meetups, Pakistan is extremely passionate to reach out to WordPress users and developers in Pakistan and bind them in the form of a strong community by bringing them the biggest gathering of WordPress community, the WordCamp . While speaking to Techjuice, he said:
“Being a WordPress geek and developer, I always wanted to attend a WordCamp ever since I first heard about it. I saw all the big names delivering talks and sessions in it and was mesmerized. But as it was not easy to go abroad for me to attend it, I thought of bringing it to Pakistan!”
In his efforts to materialize this ambitious goal, he started sending WordCamp requests to WP officials in 2013. “And last month they were so impressed by the response our first WordPress meetup got that they acknowledged the efforts by becoming a part of future meetups, officially. Now all our meetups are supported by WordPress Official”, explained Kashif.
Adding to that, he said, “In my last meeting with WordPress official, they told me that I am very near to my goal of having WordCamp in Lahore. They asked me to arrange some more WordPress meetups in order to bring WordCamp to Pakistan.”
Just like last time, the meetup is open for all targeting a wide range of audience!
If you are a web developer, a programmer, business owner, writer, designer, photographer, marketer, SEO’s, website hobbyist, blogger or simply interested in learning WordPress, then this meetup is for you!

This will encourage team building and connect cross skilled people to build their products and start their entrepreneurial journey.
Muhammad Kashif and his team are already gearing up for the future. Telling Techjuice about preparations for the WordCamp, he said:
“To make the future WordCamp a huge success, me and my Team have already started planning and we are making a database of best WordPress users and developers doing damn good in their fields. From that database, we will extract the best speakers in Pakistan for the mega Event; the WordCamp”
