National Skills University Assesses Applications for ‘Honhaar’ Scholarship Program

ISLAMABAD: National Skills University Islamabad is actively involved in reviewing applications for the Chief Minister Punjab ‘Honhaar’ Undergraduate Scholarship Programme.

An Institutional Committee, which was set up to scrutinize student applications, met at the Islamabad Campus of FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES) with the mandate to approve and recommend credible students, by the public relations department release.

The meeting was presided by the Additional Registrar at National Skills University, Salman Mirza who was appointed as the focal person by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and the Higher Education Department (HED).

According to the guidelines provided by the PHEC, the Committee Aamir Munir, assistant professor of electrical engineering and Fida ul Hassan Shah, manager at FAST-NUCES Islamabad Campus short listed the applications of around 140 students.The team conducted interviews and evaluations to determine final eligibility.

The Founding Vice Chancellor of National Skills University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar also highlighted the university’s commitment to promoting technological advancement, underscoring its role in supporting the educational aspirations of talented students.
