Pakistani famous YouTuber Ducky Bhai (Saad Ur Rehman) and his wife Aroob Jatoi had been arrested by police for allegedly displaying weapons on social media in Lahore.
Sources privy to the information revealed that both were released after detention by the authorities.
An investigative journalist from a private TV channel claimed that Aroob shared the pictures of the weapons on her Instagram account, violating both the law and social media regulations in Pakistan.
As per reports, the Model Town Organized Crime Unit has taken action against YouTuber Ducky Bhai (Saad ur Rehman) and his wife Aroob for sharing pictures on Instagram that featured firearms. The couple is also accused of promoting anti-government slogans, sources revealed.
Recent reports suggest that Lahore police briefly detained Saad ur Rehman and his wife, but they were released after submitting a written apology and expressing regret for their actions. Following their apology, authorities decided to release them without pressing further charges.
The couple was arrested from Bahria Town, Lahore. During the investigation, the journo alleged that both Ducky and Aroob blamed each other for the incident, with Aroob specifically accusing her husband of being responsible for the Instagram post.
Despite the growing controversy, the couple or anyone related to them has not released any official statements about the arrest or the current situation.
