All Pakistan Startup Expo 2015 was held for the first time today at Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad that was a joint collaboration of Startup Magazine and Entrepreneurial Development Institute (EDI). The event provided a platform to 100 startups for exhibiting their product in front of thousands of participants and visitors for a whole day.
Judges, experts, mentors, budding entrepreneurs and visitors went through different startup stalls at the startup exhibition all day long. Startup stalls shared the value their products were creating for a common citizen in Pakistan. 9 out of 100 startups were selected to receive awards in different categories at the end of the day.
We noticed that there was no clear mention of the judging criteria behind these awards and it took close to two hours to announce 9 awards. The unusual long time for the award ceremony was because each award presented by a different person who took 10-15 minutes of self-promotion and spreading entrepreneurial insights among the audience. Well, we will save the full review for our separate feature but for now; here are the nine best startups awarded in different categories at All Pakistan Startup Expo 2015.
