Yayvo is introducing Vizio LED Smart TVs in Pakistan at the Mega TV Day, lasting from 26th to 29th September. Let’s take a look at some reasons why you should or should not consider buying these TVs from this new American company.
Vizio is a well-established American Company which is aiming to give competition to Chinese manufacturers by releasing quality products at affordable prices. Vizio is launching its products in Pakistan through a partnership with Yayvo on its new Mega TV Days sale.
Here’s a quick overview of Vizio D32ST254 Smart TV:
Here are a few reasons why you should buy the new Smart TVs by Vizio:
Vizio’s Smart TV comes at a price of 18,335 Pakistani Rupees. It will be very hard to find another TV in this price which can have features of a Smart TV.
Vizio’s Smart TV comes with a great selection of ports, which means that you can easily hookup any multimedia device that you want. Here is a complete list of ports available on the Vizio Smart TV:
Vizio’s smart TV comes with full version of Android 4.4 Kit Kat. Which means that you can download and run full versions of applications like Netflix, YouTube, and Iflix from the Play Store. It also supports viewing pictures and videos from the external drives using the built-in file explorer. It is very hard to find another TV, in this price range, which offers these kinds of features.
Vizio smart TVs, through the applications available on both Android and iOS devices, support casting videos and pictures from your mobile devices. This can be very useful if you plan on sharing content from your mobile phone with the rest of the living room.
Note: Although smart cast applications are listed as a feature on the smart TVs, the actual applications are not currently available in Pakistan region at the moment. However, you can sideload the applications and they should work fine.
Everything is not perfect and shiny with the Vizio Smart TVs, there are some issues which might force you to think twice before buying this product. Here are a few reasons why you should consider before buying Vizio smart TV.
Vizio Smart TV has a 512 MB RAM and a very low-performing processor, which translates into a sluggish performance at times. Opening and running apps downloaded from the Play Store at times become a challenge due to the sluggish performance. If you can’t live with waiting for the system to become responsive at certain occasions, you might be better off looking at some other products in the market.
Cramming all those smart TV features into such an affordable price comes at the cost of other essential features. In the case of Vizio Smart TV, these essential features revolve around the picture quality. D32ST254 is not as color accurate and sharp as other options available on market, and its 720p resolution stretches a bit thin on the 32-inch panel. If you want the absolute best in terms of picture quality, there might be other options available in approximately the same price.
If you think the pros outweigh the cons, you can go and buy this Vizio Smart TV from the Yayvo Mega TV Day, which will run from 26th September to 29th September.
