Since Black Friday is about to kick off globally and in Pakistan, some of the retailers and e-commerce stores are already live with their deals. We think this will be a good time to take a look at what kind of people we all have witnessed at the Black Friday Sales Season.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at them all one by one.
These are smart ass people with huge luck. They miraculously are able to grab the best deals with limited stocks. That one smartphone which was being sold with astonishing 95% discount. Yeah, this lucky champ was able to get hold of that deal. These people always have lady luck on their sides, they are even able to order deals with limited stock items. God knows how they do it, but they do it well and odds always seem to favor them.
This brings the unlucky ones in mind too. These people usually have pre-selected the items and are waiting for the clock to tick to sale time but as soon as they open the website. Either their favorite item is out of stock or the website crashes when they are about to check out.
These people are furious at the shopping websites and how people are going crazy for the ecommerce sales. But secretly, the bandwagon effect has taken them in its swing too. Although, they are usually seen sharing screenshots of overly priced product at the Black Friday Sales with a huge outburst of anger yet they are quietly ordered their favorite products from the same stores.
These angry people participate in social media threads against Black Friday and even socially boycott the sale too but we know they have ordered what they wanted!
These are the best ones. As we told in our Black Friday buying guide. These people do not do extravagant shopping, they have pre-planned a list of products they need. Before buying they research on the products and see if the deal is a steal or a scam.
They are focussed on what they want to buy hence, as soon as the sale goes live. They buy the products they need and are satisfied with their choices.
I feel very sorry for these people. These people usually have let the buying hype of social streams and media get to their head. As soon as the sale goes live, they start their shopping spree by adding every item with a minimal discount in their shopping cart.
They have absolutely no idea of what they are buying and why they are buying, they just want to buy everything in one go. And they do too. They check out with their credit card. But the trouble starts when the credit card bill arrives. They realize that they have bought items beyond their budget and now they are on to their friends and family to help them pay the due amount.
These are literally the poor ones like me. They don’t have enough money to afford items on Black Friday Sales. Yes, even the discounted items are expensive for them. They are usually calm and quiet around the sale season and see how the social media becomes a circus over discounted items and how people engage in debates, fights and personal attacks all due to Black Friday Sales.
