5 Exciting Apple Intelligence Features Coming in 2025

While iOS 18.1 and 18.2 brought exciting new Apple Intelligence features like Image Playground, Genmoji, Writing Tools, and more, we’re still eagerly awaiting even more innovation from Apple. The good news? A major update is on the horizon. Here’s a sneak peek at the groundbreaking features we expect to see in Apple’s 2025 Apple Intelligence update!

New Siri Features

Imagine this: You ask Siri, “Where’s that email from Sarah about the meeting?” and in an instant, Siri pulls up the exact message, your related files, and even a relevant photo all without you needing to dig through your inbox. That’s the power of the new Siri coming in 2025.

With improvements like on-screen awareness, Siri will not only remember your messages, emails, and files but also be able to read and respond to what’s on your screen. If you need help switching apps or finding something across multiple programs, Siri will have expanded capabilities, seamlessly navigating between apps to help you stay productive like never before.

Genmoji on macOS

With the release of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, Apple added ‌Genmoji‌ to the iPhone and iPad, but didn’t include it in macOS Sequoia 15.2.

According to rumours, Apple will release macOS Sequoia 15.3 in January 2025 and include Genmoji‌. The upgrade is now in beta testing.

Memory Movies for macOS

Macs also don’t have the memory movies feature, which lets you make a slideshow from your photos and videos with just a text explanation. Creating a memory video is now only available on the iPhone and iPad, but Apple is planning to make it available on Macs as well.

You may make your own personalized memory movie by accessing the Photos app’s Memories area, selecting Create, and then entering the desired movie’s description. Using the theme you’ve chosen, the Photos app will compile a slideshow of relevant photos and videos accompanied by music. You can alter the included photos, add or remove music, and then post the finished product to social media.

Priority Notification

‌Apple Intelligence‌ devices now offer notification summaries, but in an upcoming release of iOS 18, ‌Apple Intelligence‌ will include Priority Notifications so you can see what’s vital first while filtering out things that aren’t as important.

Notifications that have been prioritized will appear at the very top of the notification stack once Priority Notifications are enabled.

Expanded Language Support

Beyond English, Apple intends to add support for Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese in the year 2025.

The beta for iOS 18.4 will be released after the rumoured launch of iOS 18.3 in late January.
