According to Ministry of Interior, 4 universities in Pakistan are on high alert after they have received terror-threat. The universities include National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), The National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Quaid-e-Azam University and Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU).
Reports circulating on media says that Chaudhry Nisar has supervised security arrangements in these universities. In January, this year, Bacha Khan university in Charsadda was attacked by terrorists leaving over 20 people dead and more than dozen injured.
