3 smartphones of Motorola we anticipate in 2018

Motorola is one of the popular American mobile brands. Back in 2014, the Chinese multinational technology company, Lenovo had acquired Motorola. Last year, Lenovo announced to officially launch the Moto Z smartphone in Pakistan.

The Mobile World Conference (MWC) is going to be held over a month at Barcelona and it’s expected that Motorola will be unveiling its smartphones on it. There are many rumors about their upcoming Moto G series and Moto X smartphones.

Here are some of the smartphones of Motorola that we might see in 2018.

Moto Z3/Z3 Play

Moto Z series premium phones which are expected to be released in two variants in 2018 i.e Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play. Both the phones will be expected to come with a 6-inch display and HD+ (2160×1080) display. These phones will have thin bezels with curved edges and onscreen home buttons. The Moto Z3 also will have a 5G feature that enables the user to have a faster speed of the internet. Something that hasn’t unveiled now, is the mode of its unlocking feature. Moto Z3 Play will come with slightly lower specifications and more affordable price than Moto Z3.

Moto X5

The Moto X5 is an X series smartphone. The device is expected to have 5.9-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio display with an iPhone X-style notch. There are dual cameras on the front and back of the smartphone. There is no fingerprint sensor visible till now as it will have facial recognition or in display fingerprint scanner but its too early to guess.

Moto G6/G6 Play/G6 Plus

The Moto G series is growing rapidly and it’s the most popular series of Motorola smartphone. There will be three Moto G series phone in 2018 that includes Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 plus.

Moto G6 will come with a 5.7inch display with a home button on its bottom bezel that will have a fingerprint scanner. The Moto G6 will be powered by Snapdragon 450 processor with either 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. The phone will have a 3,000 mAh battery.

The Moto G6 Plus has a quite similar design to Moto G6. G6 plus will have a 5.93-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Plus model will be powered by Snapdragon 630 and will have three RAM variants i.e. 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB. The phone is powered by 3,200 mAh battery.

The Moto G6 Play smartphone has the same display design 18:9 that its sibling Moto G6 Plus. There are not many details available regarding the device. The fingerprint scanner is shifted from the home button to the rear side of the phone under its single camera. The phone will have a 4,000 mAh battery. The G6 Play will come in a Dark Charcoal, Gold, and Deep Blue color options.
