Women Tech Quest is a Hackathon, exclusively for women in technology. It is organized by 10Pearls University, a state of the art center for continuous and advanced technological learning. Open only to female developers and testers, the 2018 edition of Women Tech Quest will take place on April 7th.
After the successful launch of Women Tech Quest last year, 10Pearls will be bringing a diverse representation of technical experts in this year’s edition. Moreover, the software house is looking to foster collaborations with organizations and forums that are advocating to increase gender diversity in technological fields. Women Tech Quest will provide an opportunity for female coders and tester to test their technical mettle in a rigorous Hackathon. Participants can compete in either one of the contests, to compete to inspire.
The Quest targets women technology professionals such as software developers and test engineers, working in the local IT industry. The two contests will be judged separately and the winning prizes are classified as:
To participate in the Hackathon, the participants must have proficiency in any one of the following languages: C++, C#, Java8, JavaScript (Node.js), Objective-C, PHP, Ruby or Python. Similarly, for Quality Assurance part of Hackathon, knowledge of testing tools such as JMeter and API Automation is essential. Any language out of C++, C#, Java or Python can be used for automation.
